The Trophy

craftsmanship

The Trophy has been made by Venice's best artisans. Francesco Zanon, the historic blacksmith of the architect Carlo Scarpa, built the iron frame, inside of which Simone Cenedese's glass was blown. As supporting structure of both the trophy and Venice, the wood carved by Saverio Pastor completes the process.

Thanks to a continuous dialogue between designer and artisan, the Trophy designed by Tommaso Kusch became a pure expression of venetian artisanal knowledge, all told in the short-film directed and edited by Aibek Yernazar.
